These terms apply to idea-engine.studio, the company and portfolio site of Idea Engine LLC. They do not cover our products: each product has its own Terms of Service, listed on the Legal page.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Idea Engine LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. Products and purchases
The project descriptions on this site summarise what each product does and are provided for information. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Every purchase happens on the product's own site under that product's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and refund terms, and the price, features and delivery times shown there at checkout are the ones that apply. If this site and a product's own site disagree, the product's site governs.
3. Content and intellectual property
The text, images, code samples, designs and other content on this site belong to Idea Engine LLC or Kyle Schneider, or to their respective owners, and are protected by copyright. You may read, share links to and quote short excerpts of the content with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts of it, or use it commercially, without our written permission.
4. Third-party names and marks
This site names companies, products and employers that Kyle Schneider has worked with or built on, such as Capital One, Omilia, JustWin, Smart Plank, Google, Stripe, Anthropic, OpenAI, Amazon Web Services, Kalshi and Polymarket. Their names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Mentioning them describes past work or the technology used; it does not mean they endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with Idea Engine LLC or this site. Screenshots of third-party websites are shown to illustrate that work.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the site or its contact form to send spam, malware or unlawful content, to try to break or overload the site, or to scrape it in a way that harms its operation.
6. Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, including our products and third-party services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
7. No warranty
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Blog posts and case studies describe our own experience and are not professional, financial, legal or engineering advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Idea Engine LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Because the site is free to use, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
9. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about this site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in the State of Wisconsin, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and the version posted here applies from that date.
11. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Notice, are the whole agreement between you and us about this site. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
